Premiers' Reading Challenge
It is wonderful to see many St.Joseph's students have taken up the Challenge so far.
The Challenge is open until September, so there is still plenty of time to join in.
We also have quite a few students leaving book reviews, which is fantastic!
Here are some examples of book reviews left by our students:
Amelia Henskens Year 4
Bauer, Michael Gerard

I’m sad that stellar died. And it has animal cruelty.
Leaving a review is a great way of applying some further thinking after completing a book. The reader is reflecting on what the story meant to them and considering what they liked or did not like about it, then finding words to describe this.
Well done to all our students who have decided to participate in this opportunity.
I have aquired some "Reading Challenge Champion" badges, which will be given out to the students as they complete their challenge. I hope they will wear them proudly.
