Photo Trail

I'm told all the juniors had a great day at Maroondah for the photo trail.  Check out the special newsletter page about this event.

School Cross-Country

Over the past three weeks, we have run the top section of the cross-country track twice, the bottom section 3 times and the 3-6's ran the whole course on the day the junior went to the photo trial.

The students ran to gain points for their house sports squads.  The points were allocated for the time the students ran, not their finishing position.

Our winning squad weas the Pikachus from the yellow team.

Interschool Cross Country

Invitations have been given to those students from grades 3-6 who excelled on multiple occasions in our school cross-country.

It will be at Wesburn Park, next Friday, May 24.  Students are required to pay $5 to participate in this event.

PE lessons

The great weather we have had has given us the chance to focus on football skills during PE lessons.  Weeks 3 & 4 we did soccer skills and minor games and this week and next week the students are learning skills and the minor games that go with touch rugby.

Upcoming in June we have specialists coming in to take gymnastics in the SPA centre.

Year 5/6 Ski trip

I still don't have any details but I expect it will cost around $120.  I understand ALDI have their ski gear sale starting Saturday.
