P&F Meeting

Last night we held our meeting for Term Two.  Several items were discussed, as follows:

  • An update from our Principal, Mr Mathew Irving on the progress of the replacement of the Primary School playground.  A vendor has been selected and a final design is close to being completed.  This is a project that we are passionate about, we have previously committed $20,000 to help the school fund this project.
  • We heard from Mr Irving on the school’s Annual Giving Appeal which is mentioned in the Principal's section of the Anchor this week.  The P&F Executive has undertaken to meet later this term to discuss how we can become involved in this.
  • We held discussions around the success of our Colour Run. The day one coffee vans as well as the DIGS Bunnings Sausage Sizzle, which as previously mentioned, raised over $800.
  • We have set the date for our Bogan Bingo event which is 7 September. We will start releasing details on this in the coming weeks, please watch this space for more details.
  • We have been planning a social event for the Djinda families for early June, the school and P&F will be in touch with families soon about this event.

Soon we have the Sundowner Event with guest Speaker – Claire Eaton. This is a free event. Please refer to the information below.
