The heart of giving

Following the recent Foundation celebrations, I was excited to launch the School Foundation 2024 Annual Giving Appeal alongside alumni Mr George Knowlden and Mrs Alice Gillett last Friday night.

The School Foundation exists to safeguard and strengthen the future of the school through the provision of scholarships and investment in specific capital infrastructure projects.

At the heart of annual giving is nurturing hope, opportunity and aspiration for current and future students.

Scholarships are one way the school recognises excellence and chooses to be inclusive, providing students from diverse background the opportunity to attend GSG. In 2024, the School Foundation has committed to extending the Spirit of Grammar Scholarship programme to more families and backing the inaugural Rural Scholarship for students from rural and remote communities.

GSG and the School Foundation are proud to announce the new High Performance Gym project to support the physical development and wellbeing needs of all students.

This project will only be made possible through community giving with the aim to reach $50,000 in order to commence the project. The High Performance Gym will be one-of-a -kind in the region and with your support, we can make it a reality.

The School Executive has led giving this year and all members have contributed to the appeal. Coupled with your donation, we can collectively make a huge difference!

Any donation over $2 is tax deductible. Individual and family gifts can be made through the school website. No matter how small your donation, it will have an impact.

I thank you for your ongoing support of our school and consideration of giving in 2024.

One community, one school, one approach.
