Monash Heights District Swimming Carnival
On Thursday 15 February, 29 children in the EHPS swimming team represented our school at the Monash Heights District Swimming event at the Monash Aquatic & Recreation Centre (MARC) in Glen Waverley. The students were very excited to be the representing their school and certainly should be extremely proud of their efforts.
All competitors performed their very best and showed great sportsmanship!
Numerous students received a ribbon for placing in the top three positions and the top four competitors are swimming at the Division event.

These results have qualified 24 students to participate in the Monash Waverley Division Carnival next Friday, 1 March, at MARC. We wish them all good luck.
Huge thanks to the parents for assisting me with marshalling our students for their swimming races and supporting the swimming team whilst Miss Kemp was busy scoring the points at the finish line.
Our students were extremely well behaved and displayed our terrific Essex Heights sportsmanship, cheering on their teammates.
It was a great day!

We both competed in the district swimming competition. We had a fun time and Essex Heights placed second out of six schools. We would like to congratulate everyone who swam and participated because we all did an amazing job.
Finally, we would like to give a big thank you to Ms Hocking and Miss Kemp for taking us to compete and have a great day. Also thank you to the parents for their help and support on the day.

The EHPS Tennis Team will compete in the Monash Heights District Tennis Tournament on Friday 1 March at the Tally Ho Tennis Club in Mount Waverley.
