The CC Sport initiative endeavours to involve students in a diverse array of activities throughout their academic journey, fostering an enriched understanding and admiration for sport. In recent times, an escalating trend in data analysis has permeated various schools' Cocurricular programs, instigating a regrettable inclination towards a 'win at all costs' ethos. Regrettably, this approach often leads to the compromise of good sportsmanship in the relentless pursuit of a competitive advantage.
At Clayfield College, however, the ethos stands unwaveringly in favour of the belief that sports and activities should be sources of enjoyment for all participants. A laudable sports enthusiast, in the context of our college, epitomises principles such as fairness, ethics, respect, and a profound sense of camaraderie. It is noteworthy that these virtues are most evident in the character of the finest sportsperson during moments of defeat.
Students are not only urged but also actively guided to pursue their unique version of distinction, all the while embodying the spirit of sportsmanship. It is through the cultivation of such values that we aspire to impart enduring lessons that extend far beyond the confines of the sporting arena.
Attendance at Training
I request that every student dedicate themselves to attending training sessions and present ready for games and fixtures, whether they're at home, away, or in lead-up meets. Representing the College is something to be valued. Being a reliable team member, one who can be depended on, requires a willingness to make sacrifices and exhibit commitment, irrespective of the level or nature of the activity.
Uniform
We want to ensure we represent the College and ourselves on and off the field maintaining highest standards.
