Year 7 Outdoor Education Program

Please note the following procedures relating to the Year 7 Outdoor Education Program:

• All students are required to be at the College by 8am on Monday morning. Please meet your teachers in the Tuckshop courtyard. Students are to be dressed in appropriate clothing for camp with a wide brim hat and sunscreen applied. The Year 7 Camp Leader is Mrs Lennon. 
• Any medication is to be given to your camp leader prior to departure, along with the completed medical permission form. Please ensure required medication is in its original packaging with dosage and times clearly visible. 
• A reminder to leave all devices, including mobile phones at home. If needed to travel to or from school before or after camp, any mobile phones can be given to student services for safekeeping.
• In the case of an emergency and you need to contact your child during camp, please note the following. During school hours please contact Student services on 3262 0262. If after hours please contact Mr Justin Desmarchelier, Head of Secondary, on 0417 603 101. 
• The group will return to school on Thursday by 3pm. Please keep an eye on the College App for any updates to this arrival time.

Information Evening (Years 9 to 12)

Foundation Day

Students are required to come in full Summer Uniform on Friday 9 February for the Foundation Day Assembly. They will also need to pack their HPE uniform for the games in lesson 3 and 4. More information about this fun day will be coming soon.

College Uniform 'Big Three'

For Term 1, we are focussing on the 'Big Three' items of the College uniform that include:

• Shirts tucked in
• Hair neatly groomed with ribbon if tied up
• College and House badges 

Please discuss these expectations with your children at home. 

Senior Summer Ties

Seniors are now able to purchase a summer tie from the Uniform Shop.

Year 8 and 9 Elevate Education Study Skills

On Wednesday in Week 3, students in Years 8 and 9 will be attending an on-campus study skills seminar to get them off on the right foot with this year.

PP-12 School Photos – Studio Kirby Online Ordering

Please refer to the Studio Kirby Flyer that went home with students last week for online ordering requirements and instructions.  Orders are to be finalised by Friday 23 February, with orders placed after this date to incur an $18.00 admin processing and handling fee by Studio Kirby.

If you have not yet actioned the following annual requirement in Parent Lounge, would you please do so at your earliest ability (due date Monday 29/01): -

• 2024 PP Student Activities Permission and Parent/Student Details & Medical Information Update
• 2024 P-12 Student Excursion and Activities Permission and Parent/Student Details & Medical Information Update
• 2024 1-12 Student Technology Agreement 

For new families who have commenced this year, the above has been completed through your enrolment process and therefore no action is required by you.
