FROM THE PRINCIPAL

"Many Wolves .... One Pack"

Term 1 - Week 1

Shortly after eight o’clock this morning St Nicholas School returned to life as our Year 1-6 students skipped through the gate for a new school year. Smiles and laughter may have hidden a few nerves, though it was clear our students were excited to see their friends and keen to re-engage in everything St Nicholas School has to offer.

The stability and structure of a school day is timely for our students and families. While a break is crucial, so to is a return to some form of normalisation in the school day.

In welcoming our students back, St Nicholas School also welcomes some new staff. At a time when recruitment is one of the biggest issues facing the education sector, I am absolutely delighted in the quality of staff we have joining us in 2024. Each is looking forward to learning from us, though we too will learn an enormous amount from them.

I am extremely honored to hold the position of principal of St Nicholas Primary School. As a parent I am proud to send my two children to St Nicholas Primary School. I look forward to working in partnership with you in 2024, developing literate and numerate children with a hope filled future.

Have a great week
