House Swimming

Congratulations to all of the Level 3 -6 students who competed in last Thursday’s House Swimming Carnival at Aquarena. It was a spectacular summer’s day and all competitors are to be congratulated, many of whom were swimming in their first competition.

The House Points were calculated with swimmers coming first getting 3 points, second getting 2 points and 1 point for third for their houses. There were some stand out performances, particularly from Edward in Level 6, who won the 12/13 boys freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. An amazing result for Edward and his house Flinders. His many hours of swimming each week have clearly paid off. Edward and other winners of their races have qualified for the District Swimming Carnival to be held on Monday 19th February. A massive thank you for the amazing assistance from our parents on the day and Mr Johnson recorded the finishing times.
