The 2023 sporting program ended with some fantastic achievements.

The Year 8 mixed ultimate frisbee team demonstrated a tremendous effort, taking home the Kingston Division pennant. The Year 8 girls' tennis team competed in the State Championships. Well done to Katherine Armstrong, Daria Caprotti, Indea-Bleu Kachagias, and Mackenzie Tempest who persevered through very challenging conditions and finished fifth in the state. 

As 2023 draws to a close, I would like to recognise every student who has participated in sports this year. Thank you to every individual who has contributed to our sporting community, whether as an athlete, spectator, or partaking in any aspect of the sporting program. The Brighton sports program would not be possible without everyone’s contributions. 

As we look ahead to 2024 there are so many fantastic opportunities. I hope we can all encourage and inspire one another to take an active part in sports, ensuring the connection and growth of the wonderful program we have at BSC.
