LES TWENTY MAN - SCHOOLS SUPPLIES DRIVE

On Thursday the 7th of December a group of student leaders from Brennan house went to volunteer at the Les Twentyman foundation.

As you may know, the Les Twentyman foundation is a charity that our school has a strong relationship with, which supports students across Victoria in high school and university to overcome barriers affecting their access to education, through the provision of textbooks, stationery, and technology.

We began the school supplies drive during one of the busiest times of the school year and we were absolutely blown away by your generosity, within the first week we had full tubs of donations across the school and managed to fill up a whole classroom with the donations we received.

As Brennan House Leader, I had the absolute pleasure of working with an amazing house team (Isabella Kryebel, Emily Yuckhaev, William Sellenger, Ella Rose Davern, Thalia Lai, Ulyana Shatalina, Annellie Curtain, Matilda Brown, Izzy Credaro and Allegra Gomberg) including some amazing teachers (Ms Parkinson and Mr Chalk) in organising the school supplies drive.

We spent time as a team, brainstorming ways in which we could best engage with the community, and they all gave up their time to help collect, sort, and deliver donations to the Les Twentyman foundation. Without their help the drive simply would not have happened.

Once again Brennan house and the Les Twentyman foundation want to thank all of the members of our community who donated. Your generosity has provided students in need across Victoria with the opportunity to access and continue their education, set them up for success and will assist them in overcoming barriers affecting their access to education

Thank you,

Abigail McCarroll – Brennan House Leader
