Dear Families,
What a lovely celebration it was last Friday for the mothers and mother figures in our community. It was great to see so many gather together for Afternoon Tea and have the opportunity to meet new mum's and get to know each other better. The afternoon of activities was a highlight for the children. Thank you all so much for coming. A special thanks must go to Hayley Raglus and Belinda Simmons, who organised the Afternoon Tea and the Mother's Day stall for the children. We are very grateful. Thank you also to the students from Euroa Secondary who were our chefs and created all the delicious treats that were enjoyed by many, the girls also helped out with serving and cleaning up. They were fantastic!!

Congratulations to our Cross-Country runners who competed at the District level last week in Murchison. On Friday we will be taking 18 students to Yea for the Division Cross Country accompanied by Nic Asquith, Grace Ivill and myself. Last week was the first time we used our new shade Marquee; the children were impressed and the teachers thrilled with how easy it was to put up compared to the last one! We wish the children all the very best on Friday!

Works continue on the Anderson St overpass with the street now blocked off in preparation for the old overpass coming down. This has reduced traffic in Anderson St somewhat, but increased traffic around Bury St. We will continue to have a teacher crossing children over the road in Bury St, with the back gate continuing to open each morning and afternoon.
School Photos are not far away. We have seen the proofs this week and the printing is about to commence. Stay tuned.
Our Year 5 students are off to FCJ College in Benalla tomorrow for 'Students Day'. They will travel by bus and experience what life at FCJ is like in secondary school.
TheirCare, our out of school hours care provider have appointed a new coordinator. Nick is an experienced coordinator, the children know him and it will be great for the program and for the children to have consistency each morning and afternoon.
