Thank you to our fantastic volunteers who made our Election Day BBQ, cake stall and coffee cart such a success. Being able to support the school and get involved shows your child that school is important.
We were able to raise $3822.50 to go towards Junior School Council Projects.
These events cannot happen without the support of our community. Thank you to Maria, Carmen and Leanne who were tireless in preparing and organizing and on the day - making sure the coffee machine was working, ordering sausages, getting out the cake plates. Thanks to all of the families who provided delicious cakes, biscuits and slices to the Cake Stall.
We hope all of the grandparents and special visitors had a great visit to school on Tuesday morning. It was wonderful to see the pride in our students as they showed their special people around.
Thank you to our Community Engagement team for putting on the morning tea.
If you took some photographs that you are willing to share let us know!
We also had our Open Day on Tuesday, for prospective new families to visit. We were grateful for the support of parent volunteers throughout the day, including our School Council President John, Grace who acted as an interpreter and shared her experiences of the school and Nadia our School Council Vice President.

Have you noticed the Street Library in the foyer of the main building?
It was painted by a past student and is filled with magnificent images; it is also filled with books.
As you arrive or leave with your children pop by and borrow a book or add to the collection.
Sometimes our students find it difficult to come to school, they may experience anxiety and school refusal.
If your child is finding it hard to come to school reach out and make a time to talk to their class teacher or to Shannon Reeve or myself. We will work with you and your child to put in place a plan for getting back to school.
The Department website has some information which will also support you and your child -

We would love to have more! As a school community we want the opportunity to celebrate who we are. We would love all families to take the time to share their family history.
Thank you to those parents who have completed the induction and registration so they can volunteer at BPPS in 2025.
