INCLUSION HUB & 10D

Working together to create a dream team

In week 1, of term 2 our students from 10 did an excellent job planning and running an activity with the students from the Inclusion Hub.

The idea was ‘hatched’ when Kiera, Sidney, Lionel, Sousuke, Axel, Tane, Dylan, Isaac and Claire went to the Creek to plan a treasure hunt and a shelter building activity.

The following week 10D students Kiera, Axel, Tane, Dylan, Ash, Isaac, Cheyenne and Yarran went to meet Inclusion Hub students in their PE class (thanks Jud Mullins) to enthuse them about the activity they were going to do the next day….as well as get to know them and play some games.

The next day they all headed down to the creek Park’ and did a wonderful ‘Scavenger’ hunt and built a natural shelter.  It was incredible!

Very special shout out to Tane and Isaac who were absolutely superb leading their Inclusion Hub teams and setting such a great example for them.  Everyone had a great experience (including the teachers).

We hope to do more activities like this in the future.

Well done to everyone involved.
