Sydney Writers' Festival Excursion

On Thursday, 22nd May, 30 Book Club students from Stage 2 and 3 attended the Sydney Writers' Festival at Sydney Town Hall. We met different authors and illustrators to learn about how they became successful with their books and the strategies they use. We look forward to the excursion every year!

The Sydney Writers' Festival was a whirlwind of fun, and it was very busy. My favourite author was Terri Libenson because when I grow up, I want to become an artist too. At the Book Store, I bought the book 'The Girl and the Ghost' by Jacqueline Harvey. The best part of the trip was the bus ride as the excitement of arriving was just so thrilling!
