Attendance Matters

Mrs R. Ryan

It’s always wonderful to have our students in classrooms, ready to engage and learn. Our teachers and school staff are dedicated to fostering growth and opportunity, working collaboratively to support each child's full potential.

Consistent school attendance offers numerous benefits, including learning, social connections, and improved wellbeing through quality education and support.

Our students must attend school every day, whether it's the first or last day of term, their birthday or days set aside for sports carnivals.

As the school year progresses, our commitment to support students in thriving remains strong. We understand that families may face various challenges, and we are here to assist in addressing barriers to regular attendance.

If your child is absent, please inform us as soon as possible. While some absences are unavoidable, such as illness, medical appointments should ideally occur outside school hours, and family holidays should be planned during term breaks.

For students feeling anxious about attending school, support is available through our teachers or directly. Additional resources for parents and carers can be found on the NSW Department of Education website.

Thank you for being part of our school community and partnering with us to ensure our students benefit from regular attendance.
