This week has been a busy one! Here is a recap of what our boarders have been up to.

Last weekend students who chose to stay in were hosted by the fabulous Rob and Viv.

Friday night was the ever popular Eaton Fair trip which is the usual stocking up on supplies and some sneaky snacks for the weekend.

On Saturday, a group of students got an early start after spending the previous night polishing their boots and in readiness for the Autumn Dairy Fair in Brunswick.

Some students remained onsite and headed into Timezone for a few games and Ten Pin Bowling for the morning, while Saturday evening included a visit to Hoyts cinemas to finish off the day.

On Sunday a group headed to “The Big Orange” in Harvey to climb the tower followed by a trip into Harvey town.

This week has been a sports crazed one! We have had all sorts of sports tryouts for Country Week on different days as well as local hockey, netball and football keeping students busy.

Brenton offered a small group “Darts for Maths” and this week a group of Year 12 students enjoyed a session with Gina from Dindindi Drums.  As well as cooking with Mel, for some Year 12s.

Congratulations to the students who on the last day of Term 1 were drawn from our positive behaviour draw. One student from each week of Term 1 were drawn from students nominated by residential staff throughout the term.

Our winners were; Sean Smith, Will Francis, Demi Steele, Noah Hayward, Alyssa Birch, Addison Angel, Shaelea Parker, Ella Jeffery, Sally Mahony and Felicity James.  Well done everyone.

They have won themselves a $20 gift voucher each for IGA which is popular for town trip days.

Enjoy your weekend.
