AMT Maths Competition
Last week, Beaufort Secondary College proudly saw students from Years 7 to 10 take on the challenge of the Australian Mathematics Trust (AMT) Maths Competition. The competition is renowned for its rigorous problems that push students to think critically, logically, and creatively, all skills our students have been honing throughout the school year.
Our Year 7 to 10 participants showcased their mathematical talents by solving a diverse range of problems, from geometry to algebra and beyond. The competition offered a unique opportunity for our students to apply what they've learned in class to complex real-world problems, all while developing their problem-solving skills in a timed and challenging environment.
Participation in the AMT Maths Competition has long been a tradition at Beaufort Secondary College, as it plays an important role in our commitment to encouraging a deep love of mathematics. Our involvement in competitions like this, not only strengthens our students' academic skills but also boosts their confidence, resilience, and perseverance.
We are incredibly proud of all of our participants for their hard work and dedication. We look forward to seeing what mathematical feats they will achieve in the future! Congratulations to all our Beaufort AMT Maths Competition participants on their fantastic effort this year!
