Middle Sub School News
Sarah Hill - Middle Sub School Leader
Hi parents, carers and extended community members,
I trust the last few weeks have been kind to you and that you have managed to avoid the end of winter bugs and sickness that has been making its way around.
2025 Classes
Please be sure to communicate your preferences for 2025 classes for your children, by completing and submitting this form as soon as you can. This helps us in putting together classes based on existing or previous friendships as well as supports us in gaining an understanding of your child’s goals moving forward.
Seesaw
Be sure to continue to check Seesaw to gain an insight into what is occurring both in and out of the classroom. There at plenty of special days here at JSA that you are welcomed to attend, however in the event you cannot, Seesaw is a great way to stay connected.
Sickness
Although winter may be over, we are still seeing an increase in coughs and colds. To ensure the wellbeing of staff and fellow students, please support your child to practice washing their hands to reduce the likelihood of germs spreading. Of course, if your child is unwell, simply text the student absence line 0439 114 197 - Text the student's name, room number and reason for absence, and we look forward to seeing them when they are feeling better!
Excursions and Incursions
In Term 4, we are looking forward to hosting an Aussie Farm, a production/drama team as well as taking an excursion to Inflatable World. Be sure to look out for permission slips for these!
Room 13
Room 13 have had a busy term. In Mathematics we have started to learn about money and have been enjoying exploring this concept using play money, our AAC systems and lot of different activities. We also enjoyed book week this term, reading books with staff and exploring commenting on them using our AAC
