 Facilities News :

The winds of the past two weeks have made significant work for the maintenance team. Trees have lost branches that need to be removed from the playgrounds. A couple of the shade sails have come loose after all the flapping and also need to be repaired or replaced.

A number of our gates have also taken a battering recently and these will be repaired as soon as possible. Maintenance items, where specific trades people are required, are generally completed before or after school to minimise risk to students.

Many maintenance items need longer time frames e.g. 1/2 a day and these are deferred to pupil free days or school holidays.  A number of outstanding maintenance items have been planned for the upcoming holidays. These holiday works also include rectifying the defects identified in the Yaluk building.
