Hello to our wonderful JSA students and families!
We have many exciting times coming up in Semester 2! Classes are extremely busy preparing for various incursions and excursions as well as their incredible production items. Throughout Term 4, we are especially looking forward to our Aussie Farms incursion, House Colours Disco and our visit to Crocs. Please look out for communications/permission slips for these. We will continue to utilise Seesaw as a platform to share these events with you, as well as students' work and learning opportunities.
We have finally left Winter behind and are now moving into our warmer months when the sunshine will be increasingly out (hopefully!) Whilst students will remain inside when the UV is too high, we will continue to encourage being SunSmart and appreciate your support with sending your child/ren into school with a hat and sunscreen already applied.
2025 Classes
Please be sure to communicate your preferences for 2025 classes for your children, by completing and submitting this form as soon as you can. This helps us in putting together classes based on existing or previous friendships as well as supports us in gaining an understanding of your child’s goals moving forward.
Winter & Sickness
Although we have now entered Spring, sickness, colds and flus are circulating! We continue to support students to practise good hygiene, washing their hands, using tissues and generally keeping ‘hands to self’. In the event you need to keep your child at home due to sickness, please call the absence line so that we are able to monitor student absences and check in should your child have any unexplained absences.
I hope we are all able to enjoy some of the warmer weather heading our way!
Warm regards
Michelle
In Term 3 students within Room 4 have been learning about all the different types of emotions. They’ve all made great progress, by independently telling or showing us how they feel. All students have been enjoying our Numeracy topic around Money, where they have had the opportunity to participate in a mini shopping activity. Which they had enjoyed! Students within Room 4 love going to the library, where they're able to hear and read stories, which are tailored towards their interests.
