YEAR 4 CAMP HIGHLIGHTS
The Year 4 students recently embarked on an exciting three-day adventure at the Lady Northcote Discovery Camp in Bacchus Marsh. Throughout their stay, students engaged in a diverse range of outdoor activities designed to challenge and inspire. They enjoyed exhilarating activities such as canoeing, which taught them teamwork and coordination; the giant swing, which encouraged them to conquer their fears and embrace excitement; archery, which improved their focus and precision; and various initiative tasks and survival challenges that fostered problem-solving skills and resilience.
This school camp was more than just an adventure; it was a thoughtfully crafted experience aimed at fostering significant personal growth. It encouraged students to build independence by navigating new environments and tasks and to enhance their teamwork skills through collaborative activities. The camp provided a unique opportunity for students to develop self-confidence, forge lasting friendships, and gain valuable life skills, making it a memorable and enriching chapter in their educational journey.
