Trivia Night

Congratulations to everyone who played a role in the success of our 2024 Trivia Night.

We raised an incredible $10,000 - a remarkable achievement for our small school.

These funds will go towards replacing the floor of our rotunda area on the oval. We are currently gathering quotes and exploring the possibility of concreting the area that needs attention.

I would like to extend a special thank you to Janine Perkins for her exceptional work in sourcing our auction and raffle prizes. Her dedication and thoroughness ensured we had top-quality items, with invaluable support from Lori Frowd and the entire fundraising committee.

This truly was a tremendous team effort, securing much-needed funds for our school.

Team Kids

We are maintaining regular communication with Team Kids as we move into the next phase of our Before and After School Care program.

On Tuesday 10th September Team Kids are holding an online information session at 6:30pm. Details will be provided on Compass. On Wednesday 18th September Team Kids will be at the school from 8am with a coffee van and promotional materials. This coincides with our last Foundation transition session, for the term.

Over the holiday break, the canteen and foyer area will be cleaned, patched and painted, ready for Team Kids to begin on day one of Term 4. Please be sure to attend the online information session and register online for their services.

Workforce Planning

This year we have had an unprecedented number of enrolment enquiries and currently have two full Foundation classes for 2025.

In light of our growth, we will be recruiting another teacher to commence at the beginning of next year. This position is currently advertised and I will make an announcement to the school community of the successful applicant, as soon as we conclude the process.

Father’s Day Stall and Father’s Day Breakfast

Thank you to our band of helpers who ran our Father’s Day stall last week, especially Emma Shaw for her fabulous organisation. We raised just under $1,000.

It was also fantastic to see over 70 Dads, Grandads and special friends attend our Father’s Day Breakfast. It was a great turnout and a fantastic morning!

We acknowledge the Bunurong people, the Traditional
