Wellbeing Data Results Semester 1, 2024

We are proud to share that our data which shows our Wellbeing concerns and issues have reduced across the school from 2023. This data was shared at our school board meeting on 3/9. Please see below the charts showing our data levels over time. The data is designed to show concern, so it is a positive trend to be going down.

Please see the link below for the data graphs over the last 2-3 years (including 2024).

Student Wellbeing Data Concerns 2024

Staff Actions and Findings:

  • Staff discussed impacts on data. Straight grades year has had a positive impact in social data as well as 2, 4 and 6 engagement data. Wellbeing programs and behaviour lessons being more explicit in 2024 having a positive impact. There was confidence in ramping these up over next 12 months.
  • Questions about relationships with teachers were one of the highest improvers, Berry Street teacher training on student relationships has had a big impact in this space.
  • Highlighted the Grade 1 level as a priority for anxiety and social support going forward
  • Exploring the trend of senior school engagement with school and love of learning increasing concern
  • Exploring supporting ‘asking for help in the classroom’ going forward as a greater need in the anxiety space.
  • Pin pointing individual adjustments for students with concerning data
  • Creating a routine for parent communication regarding individual students with top 20-25% data in any sphere.
  • Exploring adjustments and more information of individual students who have come out high concern.

Overall, very please with all four areas of wellbeing areas decreasing levels of concern (which is a positive trend)
