Maths

The Grade 5s have been working on shape and drawing. 

We were given the problem of working in architectural teams to design as many houses as possible using four cubic modules. The resulting designs had to be drawn up, costed and justified as part of a housing development. We had a lot of fun with these lessons and we noticed a big improvement in the way our brains could visualise objects and translate the houses into drawings. 

English. 

We have been working on our Explanation writing about volcanos. This has included researching, drawing labelled diagrams and sharing our work.

End of Term activities 

We are already preparing our pages for the yearbook with 5CB choosing the theme of food. 

Daniel is very proudly creating Mr. Potato Head !

CAMP 

We are very excited about heading off to camp in Week 10. It is going to be an action packed end to the term!
