Sport and P.E.

In the Classroom -

Gymnastics has once again been the focus in PE classes across the school in the past fortnight. Students have been progressing through various different gymnastics movements – demonstrating great balance, flexibility and endurance by doing so. While the gymnastics skills on display have been undoubtedly impressive, even more impressive has been the fantastic resilience and effort shown by our students, as they have continued to face and take on the challenges that the instructors have issued them. Well done BPPS students!

Sporting Events

District Athletics -

This week, 60 of our 3-6 students attended the District Athletics Carnival at Tom Kelly Athletics track. The Wickham Weather Curse was in full force once again, as our athletes battled persistent wind, rain and even hail during the course of the day. Well done to all of our students for competing, and for carrying BPPS to a 3rd place finish  (very nearly 2nd!) of all of the schools in our District. We currently have 15 students who have qualified for Division, with hopefully more to come at the hurdles heats, which were postponed until next week. Congratulations to all of our students who attended this event, for (as always) representing our school with passion, pride and positivity.
