Upcoming Important Dates

From The Team

It has been an exciting few weeks in Year 1/2! In particular, we celebrated 100 Days of Learning with the Foundation students. It was a special day full of fun activities centred around the number 100.

We also held a Potato Olympics on Monday this week where students decorated potatoes and had them participate in multiple events including archery, running, weightlifting and hockey. It was a fantastic afternoon for all!

The students have also been practising their dances for the whole-school production next week, which is super exciting. Please remember to purchase your tickets for the night. Students who are performing do not require a ticket. Costumes also need to be brought to school in a named bag.

We also had a super fun time celebrating Book Week! It is a wonderful time to share our love of books throughout the school and to dress up as our favourite characters.

  • Communication Folders: Please remember to bring these to and from school each day.
  • Reading Logs: Record your child’s nightly reading.
  • Red Folders: Regularly practise reading or spelling their high frequency words.

Try This...

How many different ways can you share a block of chocolate evenly amongst friends? Amongst 2 friends? Amongst 3 friends? Amongst 4 friends?
