Another MASSIVE few weeks in PE!​

• Prep-2 have undertaken Fundamental Motor Skills Assessments, focusing on their Jumping, Kicking and Bounce and Catch skills.​
• Year 3-6 have had visits this week from coaches at Badminton Victoria, enjoying the opportunity to learn from expert Badminton Coaches!​ 
• On Tuesday 20th August, Westgrove sent 53 students to the Werribee District Athletics Day, we had some outstanding results, finishing 3rd (of 8 schools) overall – well done team! ​
• Subsequently, a number of students have qualified for the Wyndham Division Athletics Day in Week 9.​
• NRL Victoria began the "League Stars" after-school program on Tuesday afternoons, well done to the 19 students who have signed up, they will enjoy 4-weeks of intensive NRL clinics!​

Performing Arts

Throughout term 3 we have been enjoying learning about drama. We’ve been improvising, miming and playing with our movements and voices as well as using puppets and costumes!​
