How long have you worked at MSDS/ what is your role?

I’m the Assistant Principal at MSDS and have been here longer than anyone else on staff (26 years) – it’s been an extremely rewarding experience.

 

When you were little, what did you aspire to be?

From as far back as I can remember, I always wanted to become a teacher.

 

What is your favourite colour?

Blue

 

An interesting fact about you?

I have three licences – a car licence, a heavy vehicle licence and a boat licence

 

Why did you want to become a teacher?

As a child in primary school, I was always drawn to my peers with special needs, and that inspired me to pursue a career in teaching and particularly teaching children with special needs. 

 

What is your favourite food?

Chinese

 

What has been a highlight of your time at MSDS?

The highlight of my time at MSDS has been having the opportunity to meet and build relationships with so many amazing students and their families

 

What are you most proud of?

I’m most proud of my three wonderful boys
