Principal's Report

The past fortnight has been full of exciting activities and developments for our school. This week, some of our secondary students returned from their camp at Blackwood, which was a fantastic experience for all involved. Students took on challenges, built resilience, and strengthened friendships, all while enjoying the beautiful surroundings and engaging activities. It was a pleasure to see the very happy photos. Look out for them in this newsletter.
Next Tuesday, our school will host a Disability Inclusion Forum with guests from across the North East area, including special needs principals and inclusion, regional staff. This event will include school tours, allowing us to showcase the fantastic programs we have here to support all learners. We’re proud to open our doors to share our inclusive approach and celebrate our school’s culture.
On the facilities front, I’m thrilled to announce that capital works are underway! These updates will eventually provide us with fully upgraded school buildings, enhancing learning spaces for both students and staff.
Lastly, an update on our swimming pool. While we were eager to have it ready, the company working on the repairs is still awaiting a significant part before they can proceed. We appreciate your patience as we work to restore this important and loved resource.
Thank you for your continued support and as always reach out with any questions.
