In Inquiry, our Foundation students have been diving into the fascinating world of habitats! They’ve been exploring various environments, including deserts (both hot and cold), aquatic habitats (fresh and saltwater), grasslands, and forests. Through hands-on activities and discussions, students are discovering how different animals and plants adapt to survive in these unique environments. It’s been an exciting journey of curiosity and learning as they deepen their understanding of the natural world.
In Numeracy, our young mathematicians have been sharpening their addition skills using a range of strategies. They’ve been drawing pictures, using number lines and 100s charts, and even counting with their fingers. These different approaches are helping students build confidence and flexibility in solving addition problems, making math both fun and engaging. It’s wonderful to see their progress and enthusiasm as they tackle new challenges!
