Principal's Report

Today’s colour run was a great success, thanks for your participation and support for the day. A special thanks to Tamara McIntosh and the volunteer parents who supported the day and to Mr Coates for ensuring the day was organised for maximum fun and enjoyment.

This week we welcomed our 44 foundation students for 2025 for their first official transition visit. It was great to meet the newest members of the school and continue the preparation for the new year. We will continue the transition process with another visit next Tuesday 19th November, before Orientation Day on December 10th when all children will have the opportunity to be in their new classes for a short period of the day.

Sadly, due to unforeseen pool booking availability, our planned swimming sports event will not be taking place this term. We understand that this news may be disappointing, especially for our eager swimmers who have been looking forward to the event. However, we are pleased to announce that swimming trials for students in Grades 3 to 6 will be rescheduled to Term 1 next year. These trials will provide a fantastic opportunity for students to showcase their swimming skills and qualify to represent us at the Catholic swimming sports in term 1 week 4 of 2025. More details, including dates and times, will be shared early in the new school year. Our junior swimming Prep - 2 and Grade 6 swimming program will still go ahead. Our Grade 6 pool day will also be relocated with details available as soon as possible. We appreciate your understanding and continued support. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

As we prepare for the new year, we understand that some families will be leaving and moving to new schools, some in Bendigo and others outside the area. Please let us know if this may be the case to ensure we are able to not only plan but also provide support for your children as they transition to a new setting. In addition, our fee statements have been distributed, and we appreciate finalisation of accounts before the end of the year.
