Michelle Davies - Primary Sub School Leader

Dear Primary Sub School Families

Welcome to this fortnight’s edition of our school newsletter! We’re so glad you’re here with us as we continue our journey of growth and learning together.  In this issue for Term 4 Week 8, you’ll find updates on upcoming events and important reminders to help keep you informed and engaged in your child’s educational experience.

Your partnership and support make all the difference in creating a positive and nurturing environment for our students, and we truly appreciate everything you do. As always, we encourage you to reach out if you have any questions or ideas to share.

We hope you enjoy reading, and we look forward to another wonderful month ahead!

SSG's

Our final Student Support Group Meeting of 2024 have commenced this week.  Teachers are excited to share with you all of the wonderful progress that has been made as well as discuss your child’s goals for the future.  If you haven't yet arranged a time with your child's teacher, please complete the return slip, or write in your child's Communication Book to confirm your day/time preferences as well as whether you would prefer in person/phone/Webex.

Transition to 2025 Classrooms – Week 11: In Week 11, students will participate in transition week, meeting their 2025 teachers and classmates to prepare for a smooth transition into their new classes.

Curriculum Day – 13th December: This will be a student-free day so please make arrangements accordingly.

Last Day of School – 20th December: Students finish at 1:00 pm on the final day.

Sun Smart

As we embrace the warmer weather of Term 4, we kindly remind you of our commitment to sun safety.  Please send your child/ren to school with a hat and sunscreen already applied.  This simple, yet essential measure helps protect our children from harmful sun exposure and ensures a safe and enjoyable outdoor experience.
