Some words from our sports teams:

“On Wednesday the 16th of August, the intermediate girls and boys basketball teams went to Dandenong stadium and compete against other. The girls team won 3 games and lost 2. We played Beaumaris, Sandringham, Bentleigh and Mordialloc. I enjoyed the day and thought our team played well together. I look forward to next years round robin. “

“On Wednesday the 16th of August the intermediate boys’ basketball played a round. In the tournament, we faced challenging matches against some strong opponents. Here is a summary of our performance. Despite all our effort, we fell short against Sandringham. Our team displayed determination and fought hard, but they proved to be a tough competitor. The games against Parkdale were intense and we hard-fought. We faced them twice, and while we did not come out as winners in either match, our team again fought hard. The match against Bentleigh was another competitive game. Our players demonstrated great sportsmanship and gave their best on the court, even though the outcome was not on our side. Finally, we secured a well-deserved win against Westall. It was a great day, and we are looking forward to representing BSC in other sports”
