Sacrament of Reconcilation 

A reminder that the students who are making their First Reconciliation to attend one of the Masses this weekend at St. Monica's Church.

 

It is an important part of this journey that the students are presented and blessed by Fr. Jackson and the community.

 

The 2 options for Mass are:  Saturday 14 June @ 6pm or  Sunday 15 June @ 9am

 

The students will receive the sacrament of Reconciliation at St. Monica’s Church on Thursday, 3 July and it will be celebrated by Father Brian.

 

The sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist will be celebrated later in the year. Dates yet to be confirmed. Students need to have made their sacrament of Reconciliation before they can receive the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist.

Altar Servers Ministry

Our Cluster Parishes are looking for new altar servers. Recruitment is open for those who have received their Confirmation and First Eucharist and are willing to serve in the Church. Expressions of interest are most welcome. Parish Office at 5443 4400.

 

Rite of Christian Initiation of Children (RCIC) who Have Reached Catechetical Age

The Sacred Heart Cathedral Cluster of Parishes invites children aged 7+ and are interested in becoming Catholic to enrol in our RCIC Program. This program is “intended for children, not baptised as infants, who have attained the use of reason and are of catechetical age (7 years old and over). They seek Christian initiation either at the direction of their parents or guardians or, with parental permission, on their own initiative.” (RCIA, 306)
