Resource Centre

The Resource Centre has hosted a display of flat pack furniture designed and fabricated by the Year 11 Design and Technology students, under the guidance of Ms Bridget McMeekin.

The brief was to utilise CAD (Computer Aided Design) software to design and construct a flat pack furniture piece using an assembly line process to demonstrate an understanding of commercial production processes.

The flat-pack furniture produced by the students and on display in the Resource Centre comprised a Basketball Storage Stand, Desk Table, Dog House, Jersey Holder Rack, Laptop/Tablet Stand, and Motorbike Foot Stand.

We would like to thank the Year 11 Design and Technology students for giving the College community the opportunity to view their flat pack products by making them available for display.

A display of new books, both fiction and non-fiction, is also on display in the Resource Centre and available for students to borrow.
