Principal's Report

Dear Families,

CARLTON FOOTBALL CLUB VISIT

On Monday our school had the exciting opportunity to welcome four AFLW players from the Carlton Football Club for a special visit. The players participated in a friendly Q&A session, where they shared insights into their journeys, challenges, and what it’s like to play at the elite level. Students were eager to ask questions and gain inspiration from them. After the Q&A, everyone headed onto the oval for a fun kick-to-kick clinic, where the players joined in, shared tips, and encouraged students to get active and enjoy footy.

GYMNASTICS

This week, students took part in a 5-day gymnastics clinic that focused on building strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence. Each day, they rotated through a variety of fun and challenging activities, including tumbling, balance beam, vault, and floor routines. Led by experienced instructors, students learned new skills, improved their technique, and gained a greater appreciation for the sport.

LONG WEEKEND

A reminder that Monday, 9th June is a public holiday in celebration of the King's Birthday. There will be no school on this day—we hope everyone enjoys the long weekend!

SWPBS Weekly Focus

Our SWPBS focus for this week has been travelling safely on the bus.

ATTITUDES TO SCHOOL SURVEY

Students from Grade 4 to 6 have recently taken part in the annual Attitudes to School Survey. This important survey gives students the chance to share their thoughts on learning, wellbeing, and their school experience. The results provide us with a valuable data set which we can use to inform future actions.

Below are some sample questions.
