COFFEE AND CONNECT
We continue to offer families the opportunity to come together at least twice a term for our 'Coffee and Connect' morning gathering to engage and learn with and from each other.
Yesterday we welcomed Pauline Whelan, a member of our staff and our school Adviser and Visiting Teacher-Hearing, DOSCEL.
Pauline spoke about signs of hearing loss and the impact hearing loss can have on our children at various points of time in their development. Some of Pauline's presentation is included below. If you have any questions or wonderings around hearing, please speak to your child's classroom teacher or alternatively you are welcome to email Pauline at pwhelan@cranbourneeast.catholic.edu.au
Our next Coffee and Connect is on
Thursday 31st July at 9am at the Balla Balla Community Centre. (click on the link)
Our school nurse, Erica McWilliams will be the presenter.
She will be discussing 'School Readiness' and pathways in Allied Health. This will support families in navigating this sometimes unfamiliar space when seeking further support for their children.
Thanks everyone,
Jen Gulavin
