Understanding Emotions Group
This term 4 the wellbeing team has been running a group on understanding and managing emotions. The students explore different emotions and practice skills and techniques for working with different and difficult emotions. Please reach out to Rachael, the school mental health practitioner if you are interested in your child attending this group she can be contacted at rachael.millsom@education.vic.gov.au

Sometimes the Holidays can be a reset for students, other times students can struggle over the school holidays when there is no routine. Here is a link to some resources for parents and young people to access supports over the school holidays.

Next year at PLSC
A Girls Relationship Building Program in term 1: These sessions will be run by Whittlesea Community Connections with support from the Wellbeing team. The group will explore communication, friendship skills and managing conflict.
Tuning into teens
This will allow parents and caregivers the opportunity to increase connection with their children by improving emotional communication within the family. Tuning in to Teens is an Emotionally Intelligent Parenting Program for parents of adolescents aged 15-18. Please reach out to Rachael the school MHP if you are interested in this program.
