Sutherland House Captains introduce themselves
Each week we will hear from leaders of a different House. This week the Sutherland House Captains introduce themselves.
Hello students and staff of IPS,
My name is Rondelle, and I’m proud and thrilled to be your Sutherland Vice-Captain of 2025. I’m in Year 6, class 6H, and one thing I love about IPS is our House teams because they give students, like me, the chance to step up to special events like House Lunches and assemblies, show leadership and give many opportunities that can be very helpful for our futures.
Subjects I enjoy inside school would have to be reading, physical education, Italian and music. Outside of school, I enjoy playing basketball, reading and cozying up on my bed or couch to watch my favourite movies and tv shows. I’m excited to help lead Sutherland this year and work together as a team.
Let’s give it our best, support each other and make this a year, a year to remember because we all live in the yellow submarine!
Go Sutherland!
Hello IPS, my name is Jai and I’m going to be your Vice House Captain for Sutherland this year. Some things about myself are: I enjoy playing sport like basketball cricket and when I can, I surf.
I also enjoy reading, playing video games and drawing. I applied for House Captain to make Sutherland a better House and if anyone has any ideas or suggestions, please let me know.
I hope all of you guys in Sutherland can help make our House the champions this year!
Hello Ivanhoe Primary School my name is Penny, your Sutherland House Captain for 2025. I am in grade 6R and one thing I love about I.P.S. is the leadership roles our school have to offer.
These include Junior School Council, Environmental Leader, Peer Leadership, and Ride 2 School leader. I like these because they don’t only improve our confidence speaking in front of crowds, but also push people to always try their best.
Some subjects I enjoy are Art, History, and Geography, and my hobbies are reading dance and dance teaching. This year, my goal is to support Sutherland and lead them to another victory whilst working and collaborating as a team!
Go Sutherland!
