Welcome to the start of a brand-new school year! I hope you all had a restful and rejuvenating break, and are feeling ready to embark on another exciting year of growth, learning, and teamwork. As we prepare for the term ahead, it's important to set a strong foundation for our classrooms and professional practices. Below is a helpful checklist to keep us all organized and focused during these early weeks:

To-Do List for a Successful Start

1. Classroom Norms and Protocols, please upload on Share Point, if you have not done it already. 
2. Submit your Teaching and Learning Programs on time, every Monday by 9am
3. Maintenance Programs are due this Friday 7/2. 
4. Emergency Management: DISPLAN is due in the end of week 3.
5. Excursion Planners are due in Week 5
6. Tier 1 Checklist: Review the Tier 1 checklist to ensure you are meeting classroom and student support expectations.
7. Create your Visual Timetable
8. SunSmart Practices: Lead by example by being SunSmart! Wear a hat and sunscreen during outdoor activities and encourage your students to do the same.
9. SSG Meetings begin next week (Week 3-6). 

As we dive into the new year, let's remember the power of collaboration, consistency, and a positive mindset. Each of us plays a vital role in shaping an inclusive, supportive, and inspiring learning environment for our students.
