YEAR 4 SCIENCE

This term the MLC have been enjoying their Science Unit based on Chemical Science.  Over the past few weeks, we have been completing Science experiments making Sherbets and bath bombs. The children had an opportunity to taste the sherbets, which the students had mixed opinions about its taste.  We tested the bath bomb as a class and we were surprised to see how well it turned out.

YEAR 4 - NINJA KARATE CHALLENGE FINALE:

Today the students did their last Ninja Karate Times Table Challenge for the year.  We had a special guest appear as the student were finishing off their last challenge. Ninja Leanne came and congratulated the students on their efforts on the challenge throughout the semester and she gave them all a Christmas treat.

Congratulations to all the Year 4 students for your efforts in this challenge through this semester. Miss Kerr and Mrs. Hyde hope the children continue to improve with their times tables in the future.

MERRY CHRISTMAS:

We would like to like to take this opportunity to thank you for sharing your children with us in 2024.  We have loved sharing so many happy, learning times this year with this group of children and we were sad to see them leave this afternoon.  We hope you are proud of your child's successes and achievements from 2024 and we wish you and your family all the best for the festive season.  Love Georgia and Mary xxoo 

YEAR 3

WHAT A YEAR - Mr Brown & Mrs Dovey could not be prouder of our Garde 3s and for the fantastic finish to the year we have had! Students have remained engaged and excited for the completion of the 2024 school year!

They have enjoyed a variety of 'adjusted' literacy and numeracy tasks throughout the week including a Reader's Theatre, CSI Math Investigation and recaping our text-based unit Wonder. 

We wish you all the most wonderful Christmas with your families, a Happy New Year and all the best in 2025 as you head into Grade 4!
