Boarding Update

A thank you to our MITS families…

The wonderful young people of MITS wouldn’t be here with us each year if it weren’t for their families believing that the MITS model of schooling and boarding was the best they could choose for their children in Australia.

Families, we are very grateful you chose MITS and we thank you for your support this year.  Your children have come a long way together in 2024, and each of them have contributed in their own unique way to the vibrant, close-knit community we’ve built here in the MITS boarding program.

Our MITS boarding and wellbeing staff would not be able to manage the homesickness, the ups and downs of schooling and the everyday teenage antics we shuffle through each school term at school without our families being on the other end of the phone when we call for support, or being ready to jump on a plane or in the car to be with their child. 

One of our MITS values is Courage, and we often talk about the courage our young people demonstrate each time they return to MITS after each holiday break,  but let’s not forget the courage our families are also demonstrating when they say goodbye to their children and return to their homes that are that little bit emptier and quieter for many weeks of the year. 

Families, in showing Courage you are amazing role models to us all at MITS and we appreciate you that you do in support of our boarding program. 

Thank you all again, enjoy the holiday break with your amazing children and we look forward to seeing you all in 2025.
