Whats been happening in the 3/4 Classrooms

The 3/6 unit participated in a cultural immersion session which looked at Indigenous culture pre-colonisation. This session was a great way to deepen the learning we are doing in our Mappen unit- which is all about Australian Symbols and famous explorers.

During the session, the students engaged in learning all about how the Aboriginal people made tools, weapons and shelter. We loved seeing all of the students learning a dance that is used to tell a traditional dreaming story of the platypus.
