Middle School

elcome back to Term 2! I trust that students had a chance to reset and refresh over the holidays, ready for a busy term ahead.

It is important that students set themselves up for success and ensure they are organised and prepared for learning. Students should be making use of the school diary to track their homework and task requirements, along with checking their timetables ahead of time.

Uniform has now transitioned to the Winter uniform, with blazers required to be worn to and from school each day. Please refer to the uniform policy in the student diary for requirements.

Looking ahead this term, our Year 6 and 7 students are eagerly anticipating their camps. Some Year 8 and 9 students will have the opportunity to represent our school at the National Schools Event (NSE).

The Middle School home group staff took the opportunity at the beginning of this term to review the results of the Resilient Youth Survey. Our students participated in this during Term 1, providing valuable feedback about their feelings and opportunities at our school and at home. These results allow us to address and work with our students during our pastoral sessions and target point of need for each cohort.

I look forward to a successful term with our students as they continue to ‘Strive for Greatness’.
