Principal's Message

Dear Families & Carers,

We have had another amazing fortnight here at Our Lady's and have kicked the week off celebrating Catholic Education Week. Schools across the diocese of Sandhurst this week are celebrating just what amazing educational facilities we have and the way we nurture our students. Today we gathered in prayer to honour the commencement of this week. On Friday, students will be working in multi age groups to recognise this week in our calendar. Stay tuned into class dojo for pictures!

Last week, Leo and Robbie joined me at the Wangaratta RSL ANZAC Day Service to represent Our Lady's. These students represented our school beautifully, laying a wreath on our behalf. This was a solemn time and allowed us to remember those who so willingly gave their life for us. Lest we forget.

We were also very fortunate to have Marc Bongers in the audience, taking pictures. Thank you Marc for sending through this image, which clearly shows Leo and Robbie paying respect to those fallen soldiers. Thank you also to Leo and Robbie's families for coming along to support us with this significant job. 

On Monday the 6th of May we are asking all students to wear their house colours for our Cross Country. We have three houses here at Our Lady's;

Delany (Blue)

MacKillop (Red)

Pangerang (Gold/Yellow)

Our cross country event will commence at 12pm and all students will be involved. Some will run much further than others! Parents are welcome on the day - please sign in at the office on your way through. Children have been listed below in their houses.
