Grade 3/4 PGL Adventure Camp

On 17th of April grade three and four students went to PGL camp in Kyneton. We left for camp at 8.30am and arrived at 11am.

Some of the activities we did were flying fox, possum glider, disco, wacky races and low ropes course. The activities were fun.

Our favourite food was make your own tacos with ice cream of course!

This year's camp was so fun! The grade 3/4s went to the PGL in Kyneton. We left on the 17th of April at 8:30am on Wednesday. We went on a bus and it took us 2 hours.  We ate pasta, cereal, burgers, tacos, ice cream, cupcakes, pancakes and toast. We did activities like the flying fox, centipede, and the possum glider. We liked the flying fox. We had to challenge ourselves, but it was fun!

On Wednesday the 17th of April 2024 we went to school camp on a bus. We went to the PGL camp. It is about 2 and a half hours away. Most of the 3/4s went. We left at 8:30am. Our favorite activities were the flying fox because it was fast and went over the lake. We all liked the possum glider. On the possum glider your group pulls the rope while you are strapped in a harness.There was soldier where you stood like a soldier and got pulled in the air.There was the run up one which is when the group runs back with the rope and you run forward and get pulled in the air.There was one more where you run in a circle and when they pulled the rope you flew in circles and tried to throw the bean bags into the bucket.

On the 17th of April Grade 3 and Grade 4 went to PGL Kyneton.  We went there on a bus and we ate tacos, pasta, pancakes and burgers. Our favorite activities were aeroball, rock climbing and flying fox. Aroeball was basically basketball. Rock climbing was fun because it was high and the flying fox was fun because it was fast and high.

On Wednesday Grade 3/4 students went to PGL camp in Kyneton. We left school at 8:30am on a bus. We all thought it would be fun. When we were there we did flying fox, rock climbing, possum glider, centipede, aeroball and low ropes. Our favourite activity was flying fox. We ate burgers, pasta, pancakes, sausage rolls, ice cream and cake with caramel sauce.

The best thing about camp was there were a lot of activities. I also really enjoyed spending time with my friends and having laughs. One thing I surprised myself with was I actually got on the flying fox - Marco N.

The best thing about camp was the Flying Fox because it was just like flying and I have always wanted to fly. I also really enjoyed Orienteering because I liked trying to find the different numbers. One thing I surprised myself with was going to camp, because at first I was nervous but now I want to go again! - Elise S.

The best thing about camp was the Flying Fox because it was a completely new experience for me, it was so cool to see everything below you and it is probably one of the best things I've ever experienced! I also really enjoyed Aeroball because you could bounce up really high and try to get more points by shooting in harder to get to baskets. One thing I surprised myself with was Centipede because I climbed all the way to the top! - Brendan P.

The best thing about camp was definitely the possem glider because we all worked as a team and we all cooperated together. I also 100% enjoyed the flying fox because of the stunning view. One thing I surprised myself with was centipede because I almost slipped half way but I was able to make it to the top. - Olivia T.

My favourite thing about camp was the flying fox because we went really fast and we went over a lake. I loved it. I Also enjoyed possum glider because we got lifted up in the air with ropes. I surprised myself by going on the flying fox because it was very fast and high and scary. - Mitchell H.

The best thing about camp was spending time with my friends. I also really enjoyed seeing teamwork with one another. One thing I surprised myself with was how many people used communication. - Mia L.

The best thing about camp was the Flying Fox because it was really high and I love jumping of the platform. I also really enjoyed possum glider because flying up in the sky was really fun and when I went on, a bunch of kangaroos jumped underneath me. The one thing that I surprised myself with was Centipede because I climbed higher than I thought I would. - Sophia P
