Northern Star Chess Championships

Last Tuesday, 100 competitors from nearby schools came together in the Hope Centre for the Northern Star Chess Championships. 

The top 30% of participants earnt a chance to compete in the state finals in October. 

Among the competitors were two of our college students from last year, Devlin and Mitchell, along with a group of twelve other students from Heathmont College. Congratulations to Koonung Secondary College who were the overall winners on the day.
