Year 5 and 6

We'd like to wish all the mothers and special friends a very happy Mother's Day for Sunday. We hope our Grade 5 and 6 students treat you well! It was great to see so many Mums come to share lunch with the students today too. As the weather starts to turn cold, there's been a number of happy Grade 6s sporting their new jumpers! Could parents please continue to check that they are clearly named throughout the year, because every year we get lost jumpers. 

GRADE 5 CAMP

The Grade 5 camp to Sovereign Hill is quickly approaching and the excitement levels are certainly building! We will be having a meeting with the students next week to answer any last minute questions. At this stage though, the important things to note are the leather shoes / boots and long socks. As these items are required for the costumed school part of the camp, it is important that they are ready to go. If you have any queries or concerns, please don't hesitate in contacting your child's teacher.

GRADE 6 EXCURSION

We are quickly approaching our excursion to the city to visit Parliament. Although we have permission for most students, please check Compass if you are yet to pay. Please remember:

Arrival at Mitcham Train Station by 8:40am. Pick up from Mitcham Station will be between 3:35 and 3:50. More information will be communicated closer to the date.

IMPORTANT - parents must email their teacher to give permission if they want their child to be collected by another parent. 

YEAR 7 TRANSITION

Thank you to all parents for returning the transition forms promptly. These will now be forwarded to the relevant secondary schools for their consideration. Please note that Vermont Primary School has no influence on who they offer places to. You will be informed of your child's offer in late July.
