Regional Cross Country

Special mention is given to the athletes who will be competing at the regional event this week. The community eagerly awaits the results, and it's a great opportunity for the athletes to showcase their skills and represent our school.

Mounting Biking 

Students have the chance to participate in mountain biking competitions held at two exciting locations. The dates and locations are as follows:

• Toowoomba: June 7
• Ipswich: August 30

It's wonderful to see these events scheduled, providing students with the chance to enjoy the thrill of mountain biking and compete in a supportive environment. The second event is coming up on Friday of Week 8, Term 2, offering another exciting opportunity for students to showcase their biking skills.

Year 9 Gala Day

It's unfortunate that the Year 9 Gala Day for Term 2 had to be canceled due to the rainy weather. However, students can look forward to participating in Gala Day activities in Term 3, pending weather conditions. Keep an eye out for further information regarding Gala Day through the Q Parents App closer to Term 3.

Athletics/Fitness opportunities

Students interested in improving their athleticism and fitness levels in preparation for the Athletics Carnival are encouraged to attend organised fitness training sessions led by Mr. Dodd and Mr. Moran. These sessions will take place twice a week, from 7:00 am to 8:00 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays, at the oval. It's a great opportunity for students to enhance their physical abilities and contribute to their school's athletic success. See you there!

Futsal

Best of luck to our 16-year-old boys who will be competing in the SFL Finals Day on 29 May! We eagerly anticipate hearing about their performance and sharing the results with our wider school community. It's wonderful to see their dedication and talent on display in these outstanding photos capturing their last endeavor.
